I think the fitting of the cap is a little bit off. There is about a quarter inch of miss alignment from the bed of the truck and the cap. Also gap along the driver side is tighter at the front than it is in the rear. Passenger side seems to be okay. Paint on passenger side is rough to the touch like it may not have been buffed and the rest of the cap is smooth.

I bought an A.R.E. cap for my 2005 Tacoma many years ago and got great service from it. I shopped around some for a cap for my new 2023 Tacoma, but A.R.E. still ended up being my choice based on best price, proven durability, and great looks. The cap arrived even sooner than promised and Trux Outfitters of Ithaca got it installed quickly and professionally.

 Topper side over hang.

The topper sides over hang the sides of my box more then in the past. Also the edge is rough that over hangs.
