Cx Series CX Series : Chevy/GMC Silverado/Sierra September 12, 2017    Posted by: Don I damaged the rear window frame on my 2 year old MX cap by backing our of my garage with the window up. It caught the 8 ft overhead door. Rather than spend the $500 to repair it, I put the money toward a new lower CX cap. With the window open, it now clears my door so it won't happen again. Also, with my 3/4 ton GMC, the MX cap made the overall height greater than 7 feet so it wouldn't fit in most car washes. I miss the extra 5 inches or so of inside height, but overall the compromise is probably worth it.
