I feel the fit is good but the finish of the product could be much better. I'm not sure if it's something from the factory or something from transporting the product but there are many imperfections and eye sores that I feel need attention too. I would also recommend the handle be easier to open. I fell in love with the A.R.E. because of the styling and durability. the finish after 10 years is like the day I bought it (new). This is my second cap and I mainly use it to keep things dry - out of the weather since we camp a lot.
