The center tailgate lock on the TW topper is made wrong to fit my Ford F-150 Platinum with the "manstep". The locking mechanism in the center is way too short to engage the tailgate..wrong angle also even if it was longer.

 ARE V canopy

For a pickup that is almost 17 years old, and not many manufacturers make canopies for that old of models, it is a really nice smooth fit. I previously had a Tonneau cover on the pickup and it was just too restrictive as concerns size of load and I wish I had put this kind of cover on it when I bought it a long time ago.

I love the cap. I also purchased the KargoMaster rack & the CG Pro Bedslide. The rack brackets that are installed under the cap should have a shim to make up the gap thickness of the bracket under the length of the cap. When installed it warps the cap after it is bolted tight to the bed rails. It also leaks a considerable amount of rain water and snow. The bedslide is awesome!! With full toolboxes on both sides of the cap, I never have to crawl to the bulkhead to pull out materials and tools.
