Pros: The MX Shell with the Rival Light Bar simply looks great. The total height of the MX shell is still less than the factory antenna on the truck roof. So whatever that factory antenna fits under, your shell will easily fit under too with a few inches to spare. Even with the light bar positioned fairly far back behind the truck cab - the light it puts out is great. When combined with other lighting mounted at or near front bumper height, it's very impressive and provides great lighting coverage in the various lighting zones. I also put a Decked System under the MX shell and the additional height of the MX shell still leaves me with an impressive 31 inches from the top of the Decked System to the shell ceiling. Cons: I ordered my cap with a tilt and sliding front window, and also a tool box on the driver's side. My sales person even sold me on the virtues of a tilt front window for cleaning. What no one ever advised me on (and maybe this should have been obvious to me but it was not) is that if you get the tool box the front window cannot tilt in. I feel that my salesperson or someone in the factory when they received my order should have alerted me of this, as it may have impacted my decision get the tool box. To make matters worse, my shell was built with a tilt window (that can't be used due to the tool box) but no sliding window (which still could be used with tool box). The cap was installed as is, and I am now waiting for a sliding window to come in. The dealer said the window can be swapped out. With all my add-ons, I paid a fair amount for this shell, and feel that better order quality control is needed. Will a total bill near $4,800 for this shell with add-ons, I would expect zero fumbles of this nature in the order / build process.
