Overall, the cap is very nice. However, there are poor finish details that detract from the appearance. First, the right-side bottom edge in two places was damaged and poorly repaired. Not even sanded smooth. Looks like a forklift blade chipped the edge. Second, the right front edge of the cap is missing paint , about 6 inches of the edge. Also, the folding clothes hanger is installed so that when you hang your clothes they block the view of the rear window. I did contact the dealer who said the only way to correct these problems would be to remove the cap and send it back which I find unacceptable. I waited 2 months for the cap as it is for my new truck. A local body shop could fix this in a day or two.

Purchased in 12/2020 for Ram Rebel. once installed I noticed it had a 1 inch gap between the bulkhead of the truck and the front of the cx revo. the installing dealer crammed a lot of rubber weatherstripping in the area to take up the space. complaints were addressed by cramming more weatherstripping around the joint between the cap and truck. with the winter rains it leaked profusely into the bed of the truck. complaints and warranty requests to ARE were met with unanswered emails, unanswered phone messages and endless delays. installing dealer said they would have new cap made but that never happened. all ARE would do is send cheap patch up parts to try and plug spaces to hopefully avoid further liability for replacement. 3 years later and after the last repair this summer, the leaks are worse than ever. cap looks nice and appears to fit truck from the outside but wet weather makes it obvious it doesn't. I can't recommend this cap or ARE as a responsible, ethical, consumer friendly, aftermarket manufacturer

Seems to be a pretty good unit. The outer appearance is very nice. Rear window trim could be better. Overall it is exactly what I was looking for. Gel coat color matched my truck perfectly. Clamps were used to install the cap to bed, so after I got home I drilled and bolted the shell directly to truck bed. Use large diameter washers for this. Considering how expensive everything is today the cost of the shell was very in the ball park of what I was willing to pay. The service at Tom's camperland was outstanding. They will always get my business.
