The only issues I had were mostly due to how it was assembled. On my'21 Silverado the cap has a large gap between the plastic tailgate cover and the side of the cap itself. It is unsightly and a spot that is not covered well by weatherstripping. My side windows leak, the weatherstripping was not centered correctly on the back glass, and there was a large amount of aluminum shavings all over the windows and frame. Cap I’ve owned. I wanted to buy the Z2 but was informed by A.R.E. And my dealer that they will not be making that cap for my particular truck because I have an 8 ft bed. I had no choice but to buy the cx classic. It’s a nice cap, but not what I wanted. The dealer was awesome and had it installed while I waited.
