Product Reviews : A.R.E. Truck Caps and Tonneau Covers

Three new pick-up trucks in the last 15 years, and I've put A.R.E. shells on each of them. I actually researched SnugTop and Leer very closely before I purchased my most recent shell, in my opinion they are not quite as nice as A.R.E. and the savings isn't enough to settle for a lower quality shell. I ordered this one differently than my previous two, I went with the CX Series so I could have the strongest rear window but I upgraded the side windows to the pop out windows like the Z Series has, also I added a sliding front window. With all the upgrades I still paid less than a Z Series and I really like the framed rear window much better. Overall I give it 4.5 stars out of 5. Near the rear window I had a small area that the fiberglass was not finished to perfection, it isn't noticeable unless you open the rear window. I easily fixed it with a pocket knife and a dab of touch up paint. Oh, by the way, my other two ARE shells came with touch up paint but this one did not. I'd like one sent to me if that's possible, I will contact TSA where I purchased it, if they won't provide me with some ill contact A.R.E.
