It does not leak, the hardware is better quality and the fit is better. I would like to see a built-in wiring harness for the lighting power cables. The clips still pop off and wires dangle down. Not a big deal to fix, but its a bit cheesy. I chose the CX series because it's the best looking and most stylish model that I can still have the side windows that hinge open from the top. (Outdoorsman) This makes it much easier to get to cargo in the very front of the bed without crawling in. CX Classic : Toyota Tundra June 02, 2016    Posted by: Jackie My husband got a topper for his new truck. It leaked from the day we got it. We thought it wasn't put on straight and our things kept getting wet. My husband hunts and uses the topper often for traveling. He finally took it to our Toyota dealer and they said the window was NOT sealed when the manufacturer made it. We took it to the place we bought it then since our warranty had expired. They called A.R.E. and they would not extend the warranty or fix it without charging us $500. We already stuck enough money into this topper. We will not buy or recommend this type of topper to anyone anymore. We get asked about it a lot too. We are VERY disappointed.
