Second A.R.E. topper and used first one for six years and 155000 miles with little trouble. 2 things I had to fix several times: remove lock guts and clean and lubed…would get hard to lock/unlock and freezes in winter. Also mounting brackets for lift struts would break off rivets and had to remount. I ended up using only one at a time as they would fly up so fast they would stress the brackets…but overall the quality and durability were good enough to buy a second one

I like the headliner and the flip down front window. These should be standard on all truck caps.

Other than being the wrong color, it has a air gap where the door meets the bed rail. The fiberglass finish is rough. Metal trim ends are very sharp, inside and out.
