 Hard latch

Overall, I am happy with the cap. I would note, however, that the latch is tight and requires quite a wrist effort to turn. This especially true for a woman. Also, the ends of the latch should be longer to allow for a more controlled grip.

I have a white truck, 8' bed, black bumpers, mirrors, door handles, and grill. I had this topper made in black. It looks fantastic! It fits my truck perfectly. Just grabbing and turning the handle for the rear tailgate opening shows the quality built into such seemingly small details. I am impressed. The finish is great. The clamps hold the topper securely. The windows close securely, yet open easily. The dealer in Missoula made it super easy to get just what I wanted. Their installation crew does great work.
