I've had "other" toppers in the past that haven't fit - a little too wide, a little to long, etc. I saw an A.R.E. on a Toyota when I was shopping for a topper and thought the fit was the BEST I'd ever seen. Since then I've owned several Toyotas and ALL have been topped with an A.R.E. I've liked the topper so much and they've been so durable, I've had them re-painted to match and transferred them from truck to truck. The door is sturdy and windows are stylish as well as durable. There's no dealer close by, so I had to purchase from a dealer about 90 miles away. Not a problem as the toppers are so well built, they never need repair. My pickup is a 1991 GMC .. 1500.. Ordered my cap from Accent tops.. in Fort Walton Beach.. Wonderful folks .. Cap color match was perfect. Which is hard to do on a truck as old as ours.. I ordered mine with a "drop down" window in the front of the cap.. Superior touch.. so easy to drop the window and clean both the cab window and the cap window.. No more dirty windows between the cab and the cap.. If this model is for your truck... Buy it.. you will not be disappointed .. It arrived much sooner than the dealer indicated at the time of sale. The fit and overall build quality is excellent and while the paint looks great for the most part, there is an obvious 5" run on the style between the window and the front of the cap on the drivers side. No way this would have been missed if a QC inspection was properly completed. The windows operate perfectly and the rear door is the best I have seen on a cap. I also really like the latch and lock. Heavy duty and solid cap all around! This is installed on a bronze 1794 Edition Tundra so I wished the paint run would not have been so obvious!
