CX Classic Overall 4.0 of 5 Fit: 5.0 of 5 Finish: 5.0 of 5 Function: 3.0 of 5 Performance: 4.3 of 5   Don’t get frameless tailgate door CX Classic : Chevy/GMC Silverado/Sierra February 11, 2021    Posted by: Ben I just recently bought the CX Revo cap with the frameless all glass windows, frameless tailgate formed door with keyless entry, carpet headliner, dual rope lights, Yakima roof rack, and front tilt down sliding window. First overall impression was great. Fitted well, sleek lines, color matched perfectly. My only issue is with the frameless rear door. The door does not seem to be fitted correctly to the cap. At the bottom on either side there’s a gap between the glass and the weatherstripping about 3/4” and where the glass meets the tailgate there’s an overhang about 1”. I also had a problem with the door opening and closing. Moving the door either way requires significant force especially while closing. The glass would bend to the point I was uncomfortable pushing any harder. The door also require a very hard slam to close and wouldn’t always latch shut. I brought it back the next business day and the dealer adjusted the door. It latches now with no problem. But the gap and overhang are still there. I was told that the stiffness in the opening and closing was a feature that the door would remain at any angle the it was moved to. It has snowed a few times in the past few days and a little snow has gotten in through the gaps of the door and the weather stripping along the bottoms edge of the door is starting to come off. I would suggest getting another option for the door. When I placed the order I was told 12 weeks. So at 22 weeks I call your Dealer at 12 weeks and they had not idea where it was at or when it would arrive. The top finally arrive at 18 weeks. Being late is not my issue it is Canopy Corner NEVER called me once in the 18 weeks. I finally had the top installed yesterday at 2pm again at 5pm I had to call them to see if it was finished. Ayer getting it home I tried to check the light and it would not work. I checked and found that the installer did not clamp it correctly and the wires came out. Looks like it truely belongs with the Dodge Ram. Color match is perfect and the lines just flow with the truck. Inside is just as nice with the carpeted interior. Outside fit on truck and rear window fit is excellent. Only problem I encountered is the front window's top center binds on the window frame making it difficult to open and close. I won't be using this window much so overall I am well pleased with the cap. Other that that, the quality of fit and finish is excellent.
