Product Reviews : A.R.E. Truck Caps and Tonneau Covers

Perfect and overall function is good. My biggest gripe would be with how I received the product. There were a lot of scratches and a puncture with hairline cracks on the topper. I showed this to the dealer. He responded with I will contact A.R.E. to see what they could do. A few days later I received a phone call from the dealer stating I have two options. Option 1: Refund 50 dollars (nice gesture, but I can't repair it at that cost.) Option 2: ship back to A.R.E.. I told the dealer that I needed the topper before the 24th of may, because I was transferring to Alaska. I asked him if I could ship it back once I got to Alaska. He told me that he will call A.R.E. to see if there was a dealer in Alaska. He called back and said there wasn't a dealer. I have an unique situation and they are giving me options; Although, I feel like my hands are tied and have to accept the money, when all I want is what I paid for. A new topper. I'm worried that I will have future problems with the cracks and water intrusion. I wish this transaction would have been smoother and less painful. I won't recommend due to adaptability to customer's issues.
