Although like my CX Walk-In-Door series cap, I would like to see hidden hinges and dedicated handles for opening and closing the hatch door. The door twists when it gets sticky on one side during opening. Two handles, one on each side, would allow me to pull with equal pressure and maintain better control of the door. I also purchased a Bedslide with my cap. With the CX Walk-in-Door cap, I am provided approximately 90% access to the slide.

This is the 3rd A.R.E. cap I have purchased over the years. All three have been excellent products and added value to my pickups when it came time to sell them.

 Nice cap poor tailgate cover

The cap is great but the dealer had to remove the top tailgate plastic cover and put on a light plastic stick on piece that is real junk. First time in the truck bed the piece fell off.
