The sun shining on it must have melted some snow dust on my window and run into the hinge, then froze as it got colder after dark. I had to drive home with the rear door open and use a hair dryer to melt the hinge so it would close without breaking. I don't think that I should have to worry about the door freezing if I leave it open while I fish. That is my only complaint.
