The inside however I feel is cheap. I did not order carpet for the inside because I assumed that it would at least be a smooth finish on the inside. The finish on the inside is constantly stabbing me when I brush up against it when I get something out or it is getting stabbed under my fingernails. Its very painful. I bought the shell for my dog mostly but now I do not let her ride back there because I am concerned with her poking her eye out with the fibers sticking out in random spots on the inside. I think theY could have done much better on that just judging on how well the outside was put together.
