| | | Quality Control lacking- New but looked usedCX Classic : Chevy/GMC Silverado/Sierra

So overall I am "ok" with the cap. Would I recommend it, well, with some concerns....possibly. Seems well built and much better fit/seal then my previous Leer on my last truck. A piece of Swiss Cheese could have done a better job. Couldn't tell you how many times it was in and attempts made to prevent leaks. I would recommend it over a Leer but outside of that, might say look around first. As for my A.R.E. my complaint would be with quality control and finished product. It was shipped with a lot of scratches, marks, and gouges to the windoors and a slight bend to the back door frame. There is also cracks to the paint on the fiberglass where to much pressure was applied and it hair-line cracked the paint in a half circle pattern. The installer requested new windoors and when they came in, one was worse than the two already installed and the second slightly better. They also sent the wrong locks out and it is into the second week already and still nothing. One of the doors had a large scratch and gouge that was covered by what looked like a black sharpie marker. Seriously?? My three-year-old niece could have done better. A little more attention and care of the product would go a long way to promote a good product. The replacements were just shipped in a box. No wrap or protection to stop them from bashing around and taking on damage. I would have expected a better end result. Appears to be sturdy overall construction, poor quality control fit and finish.
