Quality Control was lacking on my topper. paid $3,200 for a topper that arrived with cracks in the paint, chips in the fiber glass and lines that were not removed prior to painting from the mold. Had always heard A.R.E. was the best but if this is the case I would hate to see what the other brands offer. I did spend extra for the "Windoors" and interior lighting which I like a lot. The cap does leak at the bed, didn't think it should but was told this is normal. I like the principal and everything about the cap but the "fit and finish" needs a lot of work.

 First impressions

The fit and style are an excellent match to my truck. interior light strip is helpful . the rear door is a lot heavier than expected. overall quality is much better than the cap on my previous truck.

 I love my new topper

The CX Classic topper fits my F150 perfectly. I have never really liked the look of a topper on a truck but decided to put one on my truck to allow myself to carry tools and materials without being concerned with weather and to reduce the chance of theft. I like the overall look of the truck with this topper quite a bit. The reason I only gave it four stars is the paint job. The color matches great. The base coat is a little light towards the bottom though. In the right light, the paint is a bit translucent. I thought about requesting a repaint but it is tolerable as is. All in all, a great product.
