I have hauled bikes, canoes, kayaks, SUP's, climbing gear, ski gear, you name it with no issues. The quality of the paint, the hardware, and the fit have always been spot on. I cannot speak to the warranty because I have never had any warranty issues with any A.R.E. topper. I use my topper daily to store gear and even after a few years of almost daily operation, I never had issues with the handles, locks, hinges, or anything. Perfect match with color, perfect fit. Couldn't ask a better cap.
