When it finally arrived I wasn't happy with the color match the finish had a lot of solvent pop and the front was really dry. One of the windows had caulk seapingout and wasn't cleaned up. Also, inside the window frame there is a gap. Some of the carpet is a little rough. Decal on side is crooked. I like the cap overall. But it seems it was rushed, still had a lot of fiberglass dust?? Had Yakima racks installed, reinforced dog screens, fold down sliding window, and carpet. Matched the paint perfectly to the trucks (inferno) and the whole cap looks great. Strapped a SUP board to the racks so far, no issues. On the beach inside of the bed accumulated sand. This rinsed off the carpet with no issue. Have 2 Labrador Retrievers, no issues with the screens, plenty of airflow with the two large sliding windows. Lift window is sturdy and I speculate will remain durable for several years. And no leak issues! CX Classic : Chevy/GMC Silverado/Sierra September 19, 2018    Posted by: Doug This is the 2nd CX cap I've owned. The first was red and on a GMC with 6'-9" bed. I love the "Sportsman" package that allows the side windows to open. This allows access to items in the front of the bed. I had this cap for 7 years without any problems. For this reason I bought another. This time its Pearl White and a 5'-9" bed. The side window have sliders in them that only open half way because the cap is so small. Not A.R.E's fault I bought a stubby truck. When the cap was delivered there was a problem. While lifting a cap from the delivery trailer above my cap the window was shattered on the cap being lifted and glass rained down over my cap, scratching it. This delayed the delivery of my cap by 2 weeks. I really needed the cap for a trip to Canada. The cap was fixed and matches close to the truck color but not perfect. I've heard the Pearl metallic paint is very difficult to match and it can be seen. No compensation for my inconvenience and added wait time. So I'm hesitant to buy from again.
