CX Classic : Nissan Titan March 31, 2018    Posted by: Eric When I bought my truck I assumed there was already a topper in production. I was wrong. I was able to order a more industrial style but that was not what I was looking for. I contacted Dave at suburban toppers in Denver and he promised to contact me when the topper went into production. After about 9 months with a sticky note on his computer for the duration of time he called with good news. I ordered it the next day along with a cargo glide and alurack for long lumber and ladders. I have a construction company and have used a minivan to haul my tools for years and used a pickup to haul materials. I bought this truck to accomplish both. With the eight foot bed I can accomplish anything. I love the setup and would recommend it to anyone in my industry. Cap is a fabulous cap. The ARE approved Vendor installation is quite poor. The cap was scratched by the Fork Lift upon arrival and I was told to take it to a body shop for repainting. I thought that should be their obligation. The wiring was never corrected. Installation was quite poor and cleanup even poorer. Finally, the cap was not installed correctly. I have 2018 Ford F-150 and the tailgate used to lower by pressing a button. The cap was installed so the the edge catches the tailgate and from there it must be manually lowered. Finally, the cap windows were not cleaned of the glue or tape used, tacky! I am taking my truck to another ARE vendor for proper installation. I am happy with the cap, but greatly disappointed with the installation.
