Both were well built. 2012 and 2016 GMC. I had custom side boxes made to fit interior equipment. The dealer and A.R.E. were more than willing to accommodate. The second DCU (2016) did not fit the bed as well around the end of the bed rails as the first (2012). A little disappointed in the Ergo Rack, was under the impression they would tilt down over side for easier loading and unloading. Not a deal breaker though. I am in love with the CargoGlide! It works! Instead of jumping into the back of the truck, ducking under the shell, hauling 50+ pounds of water samplers out, then jumping out of the truck, this has saved my knees & my back! Good product.
