 For $4,000 I expected better
MX Series : Nissan Frontier

I've had the cap for a day (no use in the first day aside from driving home) and the first time I used the sliding window on the cap, the handle broke off. One section of this frame was taped together with electrical tape, and another part of the frame was dented and bent already. If it was used, I would have been fine with this, but not for a brand new, custom cap that cost $4,000. Also, there is a gap between my tailgate and the rear window I can almost get my hand into. And the realization that the keys for the locks are semi-universal inspires little confidence in keeping tools and gear safe. Considering the amount of money I just dropped, I wish I had gone with another brand. I wasn't bothered one bit by the COVID related 3 month waiting period, that's completely understandable. These issues are poor craftsmanship and a poor quality product.

 Review on MX truck shell
MX Series : Chevy/GMC Silverado/Sierra

Received truck shell from Tillmans at Plainfield Ind. Good install. No scratches. Color match to truck was MAJOR concern but came out perfect...very pleased. Delivery time was 3 months, a bit much! Issue to prevent 5 stars is the tailgate cover on rear hatch which holds water, (rain, dew, snow) when rear hatch is opened, water drips (pours) on head and Bedrug cover over tailgate. For such a nice overall product, this tailgate protection design sucks. Extremely annoying !!

 Poor Quality Control
MX Series : Ford Super-Duty

Had the cap installed on 1/8/2021. Problem 1: With one strip of sealing tap cap was making contact with truck bed, no matter what installer did he could not correct this problem. We decided to install two tape strips to raise cap up which did provide a very small clearance. My concern is when the sealing tape compresses the cap will then make contact with the truck bed again. Problem 2:After getting cap home and starting to use it I had several fiberglass splinters in my hand and arm from just making contact to the inside surface of the cap. Yes, I did ordered the cap without the rug interior but the unfinished interior is not acceptable and causes a very big hazard. The Installer did all he could to satisfy me as he had no control on the design or quality of the cap manufacture.
