 ARE MX Series Truck Cap
MX Series : Ford F150

The extra 5" was critical for me. I'm using my truck as a camper and sleep in the back during road trips. Added a single LED light on the unit and it really helps at night. Both side windows slide open for cross wind and the front window opens to allow access for cleaning. Wasn't as impressed with the hardware for the back window, but so far it has performed just fine. Paired the cap up with a decked system in my 2014 Ford F-150, 5.0 L V-8, 6.5' bed. I'm a big guy and fit fine in the cap when it's time for bed.

ARE MX Mid-Rise Topper on 2019 Chevy Trail Boss Custom
MX Series : Chevy/GMC Silverado/Sierra

I’ve only had it installed for about a week but so far so good. Fit and finish are excellent. The topper follows the body lines of my truck almost perfectly. The color is a perfect match and the finish is just as smooth as my truck overall. All the latches and doors seem to open and close and lock as they should. I have the outdoorsman vented screened windoors and they are an awesome addition for having access to the front of the bed without having to crawl in from the back. The tilt down sliding front window will make cleaning the glass on the truck and topper a breeze. The carpet is very nice and finishes out the interior very well. The optional 12v LED dome light and center LED strip light on proportional switch are a must addition imo. It’s nice to open the back glass and the light come on automatically. If I don’t want the light to come on I just put the switch in the middle position. If I’m sleeping in the topper with it closed up I can put the switch in the up position to manually turn the lights on. I opted to have the factory install roof tracks in case I ever decide to add a Yakima strut/rack system or any other number of roof mount accessories available on the market. I have the DECKED bed storage so that was the reason for going with the MX with its extra interior head room. I’m glad I did. Now I’m thinking about adding a Bed Rug under the DECKED so the carpeted look will flow from the topper to the bed. It’s only been a week and has only rained on it a couple time but no major leaks so far that would allow any cargo to get wet. As expected some water does get in around the tailgate area but no tailgate seals up as a door does. What little that does get in is nothing to be concerned about. If you’ve been on the fence about getting a topper go ahead and do it. I’m sure glad I did and see no reason why this unit wouldn’t serve me well for many years to come.
