It covers the tailgate tightly and the back window folding down is also a plus. We also liked the fact that it was not necessary to remove any of the rails to install the cap. We would recommend an ARE product to anyone who asks. It isn’t water tight even in a light rain their quality isn’t what it used to be very dissatisfied one of the locks wasn’t keyed correctly the seals look terrible now when they get wet there are black streaks on the topper.
