This is my second ARE cap. I had my 1st one for 15 years. This is a new version of what I had and I couldn't be more pleased. Fit and finish was excellent! Installer at Ballards Camping (ED) was excellent too. One thing I noticed with the dark colored carpet/liner is that the interior of the bed area is darker. The old cap had a white interior that seemed to keep things a little brighter. No big deal just thought to mention it.

We looked at a lot of different truck caps before deciding on ARE brand. Security for our dogs was paramount in the search. This cap gives us everything we wanted; extremely secure and durable pet screens, front slider, and ease of access. Our two Akita's and two Great Danes have put the pet screens to the test a few times and they have held up beautifully. The Dual back locking latches mean no worries of them pushing through the top. Best purchase we have made in years!

 Got it but it took quite some time

I did my homework and determined ARE V Series was for me. I ordered on June 1 and just received it yesterday. It took eight weeks. When I originally ordered, I was told 4-6 weeks, and probably sooner. The paint match to my 2018 Tacoma is perfect--we will see how it performs but I did notice some detail flaws that I think should have been caught during a thorough product quality review prior to shipment. I am not prepared to rate this product at this time …it's only been on the truck for a few hours.
