 Good cap but...
V Series : Chevy/GMC Silverado/Sierra

I ordered The V series cap for my Silverado short bed. Went with the sportsman windoors with the sliding vent window. The windoor is so short that the vent window will only open half way before it hits the latch handle. ARE should have designed this differently by putting the vent window off center in the windoor to be able to slide the vent open all the way. I had had the windoor option on a previous cap I owned, but the bed was longer and the vent window opened all the way. Other than that the cap is really nice.

 A cover for my Canyon
V Series : Chevy/GMC Colorado/Canyon

On my last truck, I had an A.R.E cap and was very happy with it. When I bought this truck (2018 GMC Canyon) I returned to A.R.E. for another cap. It made quite a difference in the quietness of the truck and also the ride. I love the look too. I use the truck bed as more of a trunk rather than for cargo carrying. When we travel it is also a temporary place for our pets to stay while we are in a restaurant. With the side and back windows open they won't overheat like inside the vehicle. This time I opted for the fabric headliner to go along with the Bed Rug product that lines the box. What an awesome finished look. I am very happy with my new truck and cap.

Not like the one in brochure
V Series : Chevy/GMC Silverado/Sierra

I was dissappointed that my series V shell. It was not like the one pictured in the ARE brochure. All the shells pictured in the brochure show a raised reinforced bed, around the entire bottom edge. It gives the look of a sturdy, well made shell. This feature makes ARE stand above the competition. But my shell doesn't have that. In fact, it looks like an imitation "LEER". The aluminum window frames have screws that are installed at an angle, which looks like sloppy craftsmanship. The overall length is 1/2" short of fitting all the way forward on my truck bed. The carpet headliner has voids where it's not seated in the corners, rather stretched over the radius. Again, poor craftsmanship!
