 Perfect for my needs

Absolutely love my Overland Series Truck Cap. I have the windoors on the side, and the flip down sliding window up front. I use my truck as storage for my SAR gear, and my dog crate. The cap makes for a perfect space for my gear and dog to keep them out of the heat of the desert Arizona sun. The windoors make it possible to grab gear from either side of the truck bed, and really make it accessible. I really struggled with putting a cap on my truck, because honestly I've never liked them. However, the Overland series with the hard black accents really compliments my off-road Tacoma. ARE has a customer for life, and really puts out a great product.

Overall glad that we got it! Got the V-series with paint match, the Outdoorsman windows on both sides, tilt-down sliding front window, carpet lining (cap only), and dome light with prop switch and dual rope LED lighting. 1. The paint match is spectacular and could not be more pleased. If you look at the right angle you can see some wavy lines along the bottom. 2. The LED options are a must! Love the fact these can be moved by the Velcro for better lighting with different loads. The switch is also great to save battery. 3. The Outdoorsman windows are excellent for better access to the entire bed without having to dig through or climb over gear. Unfortunately these have stability issues and shift in their frame with use which causes difficulty closing or opening; just have to know how to "work them" back to center. They also did not look like they were made for the frames they are set in...? 3. The rear lid for some reason was not set right and the right side hydraulic support caught on the prop switch causing it to bend the support it was mounted to at the top. Thankfully the local shop was able to straighten it out and re-align everything so it works better than ever. 4. The overall fit to my truck is not bad. Outside the bed on the sides is great! The rear is what could use some better fit.
