CX Classic : Dodge Ram

The CX cap seems to be too short for my 2011 Dodge Ram 1500. While it still seals, there is a disconnect in the eye-line at the front of the box between the box and the cap - it appears that the fibreglass tailgate cover isn't large enough which forces the cap further back on the box.
Also, cap was ordered to have a 12V dome light and outlet installed. It came with neither and I still have not received them ( 4 weeks later)- dealer is blaming factory.
