I think the fitting of the cap is a little bit off. There is about a quarter inch of miss alignment from the bed of the truck and the cap. Also gap along the driver side is tighter at the front than it is in the rear. Passenger side seems to be okay. Paint on passenger side is rough to the touch like it may not have been buffed and the rest of the cap is smooth.

I purchased this truck cap to keep my gear safe and dry. While it locks, the lock tumbler is so poorly made that it feels like it's worn out even though brand new. As for keeping gear dry, it does not.The cap leaks a significant amount of water even when standing still in the rain. If driving in the rain or in wind blown rain, it's even worse.I have taken it back to the cap dealer that sold it to me for refitment twice since it was originally installed a month ago, and it still leaks! I hope ARE stands by their product and addresses this significant issue!
