Cx Series CX Classic : Dodge Ram June 25, 2023    Posted by: Bob I had this custom order from a local dealer which was excellent and they called A.R.E. for me while I was a the store and we placed the order together. I only had it for a few days, but so far so good. I love the look as well and I ordered the racks at the time I ordered the Cap. I added several options to the cap as well. It wasn't cheap, but I think it adds value to my truck, versatility of use, so I am very pleased. My only regret is that I didn't order the auto lock that ties into my keys. Cx Series CX Classic : Dodge Ram August 01, 2020    Posted by: Bob This is my 3rd ARE cap purchased from Trucks and Trailers in 8 years. The rear window opening knob was difficult to turn. Lubed the rods with white lithium grease. Still stiff but alot better. Also, the rear window fiber glass ledge piece was rubbing against the painted finished fiber glass top rubbing the finish off both. Filed them both a bit to get clearance and then touched them up with the supplied touch up paint. All is good.
