Truly looks like it was made to fit my specific truck. 3. All wiring is covered and routed with attention to detail. 4. Very happy with the brightness and function of the LED rope lighting. Cons: 1. I wish the windows functioned more smoothly. The sliding window against the cab in particular feels cheaper than expected. 2. It is not watertight. We get a small amount of water in the front of the bed, even during moderate rain at low speeds. 3. Part of the rubber seal does not accurately follow the top corner curves of the back glass. This may be letting in a small amount of water, too. 4. I ordered the no trim option, but my cap came with trim along the bottom. Z Series Z Series : Dodge Ram April 06, 2015    Posted by: Brad Decided to try A.R.E., after owning several Leer, Raider and Snug top products. Nothing special here. Finish is 'dry' in places with lots of orange peel in the clear coat. Overspray on the front headliner edge. Wires for light switch are dangling in front of rear glass due to failed adhesive on rubber wire loom. LED light wired wrong, light was always on. Installer had to correct. While correcting, plastic light cover broke. Wires for light switch are exposed along strut and are visible in rear view mirror, looking unfinished and prone to binding an failure. Palm latch is difficult and ackward with no comfortable way to pull the hatch open. Struts are not strong enough to get the glass popped open and started moving. Canopy rides higher in front than in rear, with some of the plastic bed rail caps showing.
