My new shell was installed on Monday March 18. Just five days later on the 22 and literally the first time I tried to utilize the side windows, the handle portion of the passenger slider window broke free from the glass when I tried to close it. The adhesive ARE uses completely failed. I took it back to the approved shop I bought it from this morning, on the 23. There I showed them the failed window. While the individual helping me attempted to inspect the window, another piece of the frame fell off as the adhesive on that part also failed. They said they would send the claim into ARE for warranty work. During all of this we got a rain storm. After I got it home from the shop, I noticed that there was water leaking from somewhere on the other side window. The underside of the carpet liner was wet. I called and notified the shop of this failure as well. To say I'm disappointed is an understatement. I paid over $5,000.00 for this shell and the quality seems to be extremely poor. At this point even if it is fixed, Im not sure I would recommend a product that fails like this in 5 days of ownership. I picked bed rug under accessory option as shell was not listed. Had to pick something to enter review.

I have probably owned some 20 pickup trucks over the years and this is the first time I put a cover on one. Always thought they would be too limiting in the use of the truck (I still think that), but I have an older truck without a cover for hauling big stuff. I plan to use my truck to travel with another couple, ergo: we need someplace secure and dry to carry the gear. So far, I really like the cover. It is wired into the power locks on the truck so that the lock on the cover works with the locks on the truck. Pretty neat. Hard job finding the wire to use, installation took some three hours!!!! Fit and finish is good. I bought an A.R.E. top because a friend of mine had one and he is pleased with it. So far, I am too!
