Z Series Z Series : Chevy/GMC Silverado/Sierra December 08, 2014    Posted by: Chuck Well over the last several years I have owned several Chevy Silverado pick ups.... For one reason or another I have had Snug Tops , Leer, and now A.R.E... The A.R.E. has a very good fit and finish. I especially like the rear window fit and latching mechanism the single latch design actually works without having to press on each side if the window to make it latch. The last mechanics on the drop down slider window are also much better than the previous canopies. Z Series Z Series : Ford Super-Duty September 20, 2014    Posted by: Chuck I purchased this cap after an unsatisfactory purchase from a competitor which I returned. The A.R.E. cap's fit and finish is superior. The paint match to my truck is superb. The quality of the removable sliding window in front is much better than the competitive brand. I particularly like the rope lighting options which allows the entire bed to be lit at night. This option was not available from the competitor. Finally, the paint of my cap was scratched in transit. The dealer gave me a choice of trying to repair the scratch with touch up paint or sending it back to be repainted. I chose to send it back to the factory for repainting.
