I had a CX topper installed on my 2015 SRD double cab Tundra recently. The interior looks great. No sagging in the interior liner and nicely finished. The paint of the topper, however, seems to be applied unevenly. The sides are smooth and finished while the paint on top is markedly rough, almost gritty. This is the fourth topper I have owned, and the first A.R.E. product and I am disappointed in the paint finish. Nothing that I read on the topper would suggest that the rough finish is intentional. The fit is good, but not great. One side aligns cleanly with the bed; however, there is a bow on the other side that seems inherent in the mold itself. It is not too obvious, but I prefer clean lines and I think the fit could be more refined. The fit between the cab and topper is great. In terms of function, the topper is great with super strong door lifts and nice clean fit with the tailgate. Oddly, they sent the wrong keys with my topper and nobody checked to see if they worked when I pulled away. I am having to head back to get the keys/locked squared away. It happens sometimes, but it would have been nice to avoid a simple mistake.
