| | | Good topper with defects A.R.E. Cx Series

Just had the topper installed today it had several defects one in the paint one in the side window and wrong hinges on the rear door and a knob missing off the right side window. I was told that the rear door wasn’t operating properly, after dealer called ARE tech support it was uncovered that the topper had a recall on it for the rear door hinges and that my topper was one of 12 toppers that left the factory with the wrong hinges. Now I feel with the amount of time it took to get the topper (5 weeks) that this should have been taken care of at the factory before delivery. Now I have to wait for the replacement hinges and then take more of my time taking it to the dealership for installation of the replacement hinges. I like the topper but it should have had better quality control and I think I deserve a partial refund for the inconvenience Thanks. Duff
