Product Reviews : A.R.E. Truck Caps and Tonneau Covers

This is my first cap so I'm only able to compare with what I have seen with other brands. Overall the cap seems to be well made and fit the truck very well. I liked the rear hatch design - the stepped rear seal conforms to the top of the tailgate very well. Paint and gaskets seem to be well done. My only hesitation is the design of the tool boxes. The metal that the boxes are constructed from seem to be very light gauge (probably for weight savings). They flexed with just one case of catalogs placed inside. Not sure about the long term durability of the design. I may need to fabricate some partitions and reinforcements with plywood.
