Product Reviews : A.R.E. Truck Caps and Tonneau Covers

First, I would only recommend this product if A.R.E. stands behind the plastic hinge on the rear window. Everything else is good quality which is what you pay for. I had a previous A.R.E. cap on a 1995 Silverado with the same window style and the hinge came loose and cracked on the outside. Both times I returned to the retail dealer and was told that it was out of warranty but for a big price they would fix it. Before I bought the second cap, I was told they had redesigned the hinge. A.R.E. did but it doesn`t work either.
