 Purchase of the A.R.E. CX Evolve Pickup Canopy

This is my 3rd A.R.E. canopy over the last many years. The first two canopies were used under a commercial use/configuration and held up very well. Why would I try another brand at this phase of my life? 20 (plus) Years of quality service with this brand is all one needs to say. Also the on-site staff was outstanding in their conduct of business, customer service, communications and an overall thorough and highly professional installation process for this canopy. Of all the other dealerships I shopped (approximately 16 others) it was the on-site staff Jessie, Le and the fellas in the shop that made this process a most pleasant and worthwhile commitment for purchase. Well done folks, it was a pleasure working with you all. You certainly have my utmost customer loyalties. Thanks again Greg Freeman (Retired U.S. Marine corps).

 Poor Service and Parts Availability

My experience with ARE customer dis-service is enough to put me off buying another of these shells. I tried to work out a solution to a latch handle failure by contacting first a dealer, then the OEM latch manufacturer, then ARE directly. No one was willing to help. They did send me a replacement latch handle for $85 but when I pointed out that my existing lock cylinder would not work with the current design and that was unacceptable, they said too bad. Then I asked to purchase just the T Handle to replace the broken component, same answer. The dealer did make me whole with an appropriate discount, thank you very much. He did say that this is a common scenario with ARE not caring to ensure the service parts are available and not showing any willingness or flexibility when it comes to after the sale customer satisfaction. I will shop elsewhere for my next purchase for my fleet.
