I opted to have my rear window replaced and had the slider installed. Connected the cap with the boot seal option so that my Lab can get heat and A/C. Great feature, only problem I have noticed is that I get a "whooshing" noise now. I noticed two very small bubbles in the center of the roof exterior. The dealer said : when one or both bubbles burst, they would remove the top and send it back to ARE for repair. This is a process that could take 3 weeks to a month, depending on the truck schedule and workload. I find this process MOST inconvenient. The dealer will provide a loaner " if available ".
