Product Reviews : A.R.E. Truck Caps and Tonneau Covers

I bought this brand new, so I will start out with the basic and most despised design of this topper. The rear glass does not conform at all to the rear of the bed. It flares out and leaves enough room to stick a finger into the truck bed. Undoubtable you could easily pry this open and shatter the glass to obtain access. The window does not go up high at all. I am 6'4" and constantly bash my forehead into the glass, as it only opens a flat 90 degrees. Lights inside don't even turn on anymore after a few months. Second most despised feature, no way to get wing doors on this topper... why? Topper also leaks during heavy rains near the cab window. Lastly, there is zero data to be obtained from the company at all about the dynamic or static weight rating of the topper for roof top tent applications.
