I was looking forward to getting an ARE Revo Canopy. They look great, and ARE has been around for a long time. I just assumed they were a quality product. And maybe they are for the most part, and they skipped the quality in mine. The day it was installed on my truck, the back sliding window grabber fell off. A new one was ordered. They did a water test and one of the windows leaked, so they ordered a new one for me. While waiting for the new window to arrive, my dog pushed out the screen on one side. Mind you, she pushes on the screen door and windows on my house, and none of them have popped out. So now I have one screen just hanging there. You would think the other one would pop out, but it's held strong like all others. The new window arrived, but then the electric locking mechanism in the back window disconnected on one side. The guys at the shop tried to weld it back on, but it only lasted about a week and it is back to hanging and the locking mechanism won't lock without it attached. So they ordered a new back window for me because they can't order just the locking mechanism. The new rear window is on its way, but now the fabric loop that you pull down on to shut the rear window popped off on one side. This is just getting ridiculous. Thankfully everything is currently on warranty, but I'm not too sure this stuff isn't going to happen again after the warranty runs out next year. The outside looks great, but it does not seal properly on the tailgate and the corners in the rear. I was hoping it would be sealed well enough to sleep in without getting an updraft. At this point I would not recommend this canopy, but when everything is fixed and everything still functions properly after the warranty is up, I would change my view. On a positive note, the dealer that did the install and is doing all the warranty work are doing a great job. I just feel sorry for them because they don't get paid extra for the return issues.
