Leaking from the roof rack mounting, leaking drivers side window, leaking passenger side window, and leaking front window. Windoors have gaskets with a slit at the top of the gasket. Nowhere for the water to run but down and inside of the the bed. Front window hole had been cut too large and front window was barely holding onto cap. Front window frame was bowed out, allowing water to seep in. Cap was sent back to ARE twice to address the issues. Returned each time with existing issues rather than a new cap being issued. Other Series OTHER Series : Dodge Ram July 24, 2019    Posted by: Matt I placed the order for my shell in early March of 19’. It was installed May 2nd. When I got home and walked around the new topper I noticed quite a few things that were damaged and a few things that were from poor quality control. The back window had chips on the window tinting, the back window framing looked like it was ran into by a fork lift maybe. It’s all deformed and the water seal is ripped in many places. The weather strip that covers the top on the tail gate on the drivers side is cracked and you can see where from the factory they made a repair then sprayed over it with the “line X” spray to cover it. The “Line-C” spray on the drivers side looks great. However on the passenger side is horrible; it has lots of clumps or air bubbles in the spray and looks like they ran out of color in the spray also and there is lots of line-c that is white. The shape of the topper on the drivers side looks great and follows the curve of the truck but the passenger side is a 1/2-5/8” short and looks bad. Overall is disappointed in my purchase. I feel for the money spent I should have received a quality product. If I knew it was going to look like this I would have bought another brand. I have called my dealership many times to try and resolve the issues with no luck. They asked me to email them pictures which I did the first night I got home and times after with no response. I called many times with being passed around on the phone with no answer on if A.R.E. was going to fixed the damaged items on my new shell. Overall I would like to have these items fixed. Cx Series CX Classic : Chevy/GMC Colorado/Canyon December 29, 2018    Posted by: Matt This is the first camper style bed cap ive owned, and im very pleased with it so far. The only reason i cant give it five stars, is that it leaked pretty good at each corner of the back windoor at the top of the tailgate when driving or parked in the rain. With some help from the Local Dealer/Installer, we came up with a fairly simple fix by adding an extra piece of rubber weather stripping to each corner.
