Overall, the cap is very nice. However, there are poor finish details that detract from the appearance. First, the right-side bottom edge in two places was damaged and poorly repaired. Not even sanded smooth. Looks like a forklift blade chipped the edge. Second, the right front edge of the cap is missing paint , about 6 inches of the edge. Also, the folding clothes hanger is installed so that when you hang your clothes they block the view of the rear window. I did contact the dealer who said the only way to correct these problems would be to remove the cap and send it back which I find unacceptable. I waited 2 months for the cap as it is for my new truck. A local body shop could fix this in a day or two.

I had a very good experience with Chad and his install team at Big Tex Trailers in Homer Glen, IL. They were professional and courteous throughout the process. My biggest issues were the lead time it took to receive the cap, which was 5 1/2 weeks, after I was told it would be 4 weeks max and the install time, which was 4 1/2 hrs, after I was told it would be 1 1/2 - 2 hrs. The finish on the cap looks very close to the same as my truck, however there is a slight difference. The only reason I can figure is it's a fiberglass top and an aluminum bed so they don't quite look alike. I love my cap but would've liked a little more honesty in regards to the lead and install times.
