Dcu Series DCU Series : Ford F150 February 06, 2014    Posted by: Rick This is my 3rd A.R.E. Topper. My first one was on a 2001 crew cab, loved it. The finish and fiberglass never failed. I had small scratches on my truck after pushing my way though the woods and brush, but not one on the topper. My second one was a work topper with side doors. The only problem I had is it was on a 2500 Chev. The topper handled the weight that I had in it but the Chev fenders failed. to the point the tail lights broke and the fenders spread. The fenders could not handle the weight. That the topper handled. One thing that I found out buying my last A.R.E. Is the you have to check around on price. I got 3 total different price's on ordering the same topper from 3 different topper dealers. Low to High was twice the price. Mx Series MX Series : Dodge Ram December 10, 2013    Posted by: Rick This is my second ARE topper, my first was for my Ram 1500. The topper MX series was ordered with the full back hatch with the glass door. It was perfect for my dogs to get into and out of the truck just layed my dog ramp on the bumper in they went. My new truck came with a back up camera so I went with the standard hatch. it molds perfect with the bed and tail gate perfect fit. The carpet lining makes great insulation for noise. The LED interior light is a great improvment from the old light. the sliding/fold down window is great for keeping the back window of the truck clean. Paint is a perfect match to my truck. The wind wings on the side are a great addition for the topper they can be opened for ventilation without fear of my dogs trying to jump out of the window screen.
