I purchased this cap back in April 2016 . The Hatch will not stay up it is very heavy and hurts like heck when it hits you. someone is going to get injured when it hits you in the head. To this date they haven't fixed my issue other than a month ago they sent the cap back to the factory. All they did was put longer prop rods on the cap now the hatch stick up so high you have to climb on the back bumper to shut it. When I brought the issue up to the factory rep. he relied, "well I guess you wont have to worry about the hatch hitting you anymore. As far as we are concerned your issue has been resolved." Poor response, but they don't seem able to fix the issue. Don't buy the hatch with the walk in door it is not worth the extra money and aggravation you will go through to fix the problem and they wont refund you the money.
