The truck cap it excellent. The finish of the cap is great and the paint is a perfect match. My biggest issue is with the fishing rod holders I bought for the inside of the shell. I bought 2 sets of them and together they have the capacity to hold 8 rods. The problem with them is out of all the rods I have only 2 will fit. The holders are hard mounted to the inside of the shell and there is no way to adjust them to hold different rods. Looking back I should have ordered the roof racks as well. Maybe I could have bolted a rod and reel tube to the outside of the shell.

Overall nice looking cap only thing I'm being picky about is the screws on the inside window. Some look good and some look dented in metal around window. The carpet seams a little frayed again im being picky.

 CX w/tool boxes on sides

The overall quality of the cap is 1st class as far as paint color match w/ fit and finish. The tool boxes are rated 120 lbs I believe The only thing I would prefer is maybe an option to support the tool boxes from the under side to the bed. Even though they are rated 120 lbs they have too much deflection in them when compact 30 lb loads are layed in. I was wanting to load a few cases of shotgun shells in the them. I did ask my dealer McGuire (who is excellant) to reach out to ARE for additional supports. The cap is 1st class. I just was hoping for "beafier" tool boxes. So let's figure out some Aluminum channels w/ bed support brackets.
