Recently, I purchased a cap for my new 2016 GMC truck & I'm pleased with the look. I've had many compliments! However, I am very annoyed that when I open the cap door, it swings way too high for my reach. I have to step up on the truck bumper in order to reach & close it. This is not good for me because I use my truck for deliveries on a daily basis. It's even too high for my husband who's taller than me. I've always had a cap for my trucks but have never had this problem before. I'm wondering if there is anything I can do to fix this problem & make it easier for me?

This is my second TW truck cap. I have enjoyed all the features not available on other brands. On the second week I owned it the rubber around the windoor failed to cover the glass. I don't know what to do except make this known in my review. Hopefully the quality control will be better in the future and more proactive so that buyers like myself will be more likely to continue to purchase this brand. A poor result like this makes me unlikely to purchase an A.R.E. product again.
