Looked and researched all cap manufacturer's and came back to ARE for the style, options and overall design of the product plus getting a great price helped quite a bit also.

CX HD Leaks at 3 different locations, and very bad even after professional installation. Installer claims "all shells leak" so apparently my standards are too high for wanting my stuff to stay dry. Poor quality, fit, and finish. Time for some better QC at ARE! I will say that the shell looks great on the truck so we can put that in the win column.

This cap fits perfectly. The custom paint job matches my truck exactly. Looks great. Everything in the bed stays dry. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is this: I can't close the back cap door. I can't reach it. It's a high profile cap so I have to step up on the bumper to grab the edge of it to pull it down. It's very awkward. I'm 5'6" tall. Maybe A.R.E could add a drop down handle for short ladies!
